Following her accomplishments in Grade 8 violin, voice, and Grade 5 piano, Helen’s passion for music led her to excel at the Junior Guildhall School of Music. Her dedication culminated in winning the prestigious Singers’ prize upon her graduation. Concurrently, she pursued her studies in Performance and Analysis through a Double Music A-level at the renowned Old Palace School of John Whitgift in Croydon.

Helen’s academic journey continued with great success as she completed her BMus (2:1) and LTCM at the esteemed Trinity College of Music in London. Complementing her impressive academic pursuits, she further honed her expertise by obtaining a postgraduate teaching qualification from Goldsmiths College, University of London.

Throughout her illustrious career, Helen’s pedagogical prowess shone as she adeptly imparted her musical knowledge to students across all 5 school Key Stages and beyond. Her exceptional abilities were recognized when she was bestowed the prestigious Teacher of the Year award in 2006, a testament to the profound impact she had on her students’ lives.

With a track record spanning over 15 years, Helen not only excelled in teaching but also in administration. She successfully spearheaded music departments, consistently elevating student achievement across all Key Stages. Her unwavering commitment yielded a remarkable 100% pass rate (ranging from A* to C, Level 9 to 5) at GCSE, BTEC, and A Level examinations. Simultaneously, she maintained her private teaching endeavors, enriching the musical lives of individual students.
